For the second expired film from the Josh collection we went now for the Fujifilm Superia X-TRA 800 in my opinion is pretty similar as the 400 we posted before, but it has more grain, since the Film ISO is 800.
When we shoot with those expired films, basically we need to reduce the speed of the ISO, in case of this 800 the setting on my camera was around 400 ISO, since they are expired so we need to place 1 stop down, is just something I do when I use expired film, reduce the ISO in half of the original ISO.
This film was from expired in 2005 so the year that we shoot we are talking about almost 20 years expired, so you can imagine how many film was there stoped inside some of refrigerator on under the bed of someone.
I like to always keep consisting in one color, but to try and do some film review those films are super cool, in my opinion the colors that come out was a kind of blue with a lot of grain, I personally don’t like that much grain, but some people do. Check the results and judge yourself.
